Terms & Conditions
Last updated: September 27, 2026
These terms apply when you use momento.pk and when you book an event with Momento (“Momento”, “we”, “us”), an event planning and catering company based in Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan. Your written booking agreement for a specific event adds to these terms. If the two differ, your booking agreement wins.
The short version
- Prices on the website are starting guides. The price you pay is the one in your written quote and booking agreement.
- When you book with Momento, Momento is responsible to you for everything in your agreement, including work done by our partner vendors.
- Pay only to the Momento bank account shown on your invoice, and always ask for a receipt.
- Cancellations and refunds follow our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
- Reviews must be genuine. We never write, buy or filter reviews to look better.
- Pakistani law applies, and nothing here removes your rights as a consumer.
1. Who we are
Momento plans and delivers weddings, family celebrations and corporate events in Karachi, using our own team and partner vendors we select (venues, caterers, decorators, photographers and others). Contact: support@momento.pk, WhatsApp +92 334 222 6328.
2. Prices, quotes and booking
- Prices on the website (“from PKR …”, packages and budget guides) are starting guides, not offers. The real price depends on your date, guest count, venue, menu and choices.
- We send you a written, itemised quote. It says what's included, what isn't, and how long the quote is valid.
- Your booking is confirmed only when you've accepted the booking agreement (signed, or confirmed in writing by email or WhatsApp) andwe've received the advance shown in it.
- All prices are in Pakistani Rupees. Your quote shows whether Sindh sales tax on services applies and is included.
3. Payments
- Your booking agreement sets the payment milestones (for example: advance, pre-event and final).
- Pay only to the Momento bank account shown on your invoice. We will never ask you to pay a vendor's personal account on our behalf, or change bank details by message alone. If you're unsure, call us on +92 334 222 6328 before paying.
- We give you a receipt for every payment.
- If a milestone payment is late, we'll remind you first. We may pause work that depends on it, but we'll tell you in writing before we do.
4. What we're responsible for
- Delivering the services in your booking agreement, with reasonable care and skill, on the agreed date.
- Choosing and managing partner vendors for your event. They work for us on your event, and we are responsible to you for what they deliver under your agreement.
- If a partner vendor becomes unavailable, we replace them with one of the same or better standard, and tell you before the event. If you don't accept the replacement, the Refund Policy applies to that part.
- Food we serve is prepared under hygienic conditions. Tell us about allergies and dietary needs in writing before the menu is final.
5. What we need from you
- Accurate details, and final guest numbers by the date in your agreement.
- Any permissions only you can give, such as access to a private home, and following the venue's rules.
- Paying for damage to hired items or the venue caused by you or your guests (not normal wear and tear).
- Keeping to government rules for events, for example limits on timings, sound or menus. We'll advise you on these, but we can't break them.
6. Changes to your event
You can ask to change your date, guest count, menu or services. We'll confirm in writing whether it's possible and whether the price changes. A change only takes effect once we both agree it in writing.
7. Cancellations and refunds
See our Cancellation & Refund Policy. It explains what happens if you cancel or postpone, if we cancel, or if something isn't delivered as agreed.
8. Events outside anyone's control
Neither of us is responsible for failing to perform because of events that couldn't reasonably be avoided, such as government orders or restrictions, security situations, strikes, floods, extreme weather or wide power or network outages. If this happens we'll work with you to postpone, and the Refund Policy explains what you get back if we can't.
9. Photos from your event
We only use photos or videos from your event on our website or social media if you give us written permission, and we won't show guests' faces close-up without it. You can withdraw permission at any time and we'll remove them from our own channels.
10. Partner vendor profiles on our website
Our website shows profiles of partner vendors. Each profile says whether our team has checked it and, if so, on what date. A check confirms the details we reviewed at that time; it isn't a promise about a vendor's future work outside a Momento booking. Profiles marked “Sample listing” are examples of the kinds of services we arrange, not real businesses, and can't be booked. If you make an agreement directly with a vendor outside a Momento booking, that agreement is between you and the vendor.
11. Reviews
- Reviews must describe your own genuine experience.
- We don't write reviews ourselves, pay for reviews, or offer discounts in exchange for positive ones. Vendors and Momento staff can't review themselves.
- Every review is checked before it's published. We remove reviews that are fake, abusive, off-topic or contain personal data, but we don't remove a review just because it's negative.
- Ratings shown on the website are calculated only from published reviews. A “verified enquiry” label means the reviewer's account sent that vendor an enquiry through Momento.
12. Using our website
You agree not to:
- send false enquiries, reviews or vendor applications, or pretend to be someone else
- copy or scrape our content or vendor profiles for commercial use
- try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the website. This may also be an offence under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016
If you create an account, keep access to it secure. You're responsible for activity on your account.
13. Intellectual property
The Momento name, logo, website design and our own content belong to us. Some images on the website are licensed stock photography used for illustration and are not photos of Momento events. Partner vendors keep ownership of the photos they give us, and allow us to show them on their profile.
14. Our liability
- If we don't deliver what we agreed, we're responsible for the loss that was a foreseeable result, as set out in the Refund Policy.
- Apart from that, our total liability for an event is limited to the amount you paid us for it. We aren't liable for indirect losses, such as lost business or travel costs for guests.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
- Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2014 or other consumer law.
15. Complaints
- Tell us: on the day, speak to your Momento coordinator. Afterwards, email support@momento.pk or WhatsApp +92 334 222 6328, ideally within 7 days, with photos if you have them.
- We confirm we've received it within 2 working days.
- We send you our response and proposed remedy within 14 days.
- If you're not satisfied, you can take the matter to the Consumer Protection Court in Karachi or any other forum the law allows.
16. Law and courts
These terms and your booking agreement are governed by the laws of Pakistan, including the Contract Act, 1872 and the Sindh Consumer Protection Act, 2014. Agreements and confirmations made by email or WhatsApp are valid under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance, 2002. The courts at Karachi have jurisdiction, without affecting any right you have to use a consumer court.
17. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. The terms that apply to your booking are the ones in force when you confirmed it, unless you agree otherwise in writing.
